Dare to Plan Again

A path on the Camino de Santiago in Spain.

A path on the Camino de Santiago in Spain.

In the spirit of “There’s no bad weather, only bad clothing choices,” I’ve continued to walk through the Pacific Northwest gloom. We’ve even had some days of sunshine. With news of a vaccine and the potential for travel to open up next year, I’ve dared to plan again. I even ordered a guidebook to the Via Francigena, and for anyone who reads my mini-guide to planning for the Camino, you know that’s a big ole step.

I’ve also whittled down my reading list this fall and want to share some diverse books by women who walk. Any of them would make a wonderful holiday gift for the walker in your life. Stay tuned for more in my Dec. 18 blog post.

I created a free guide to help you start planning for your own slow walk: Quick Prep for a Slow Walk (on the Camino de Santiago). You’ll also receive my periodic newsletters about writing, slow travel, and the Camino. Thanks for joining me.
