Wanderlust This and Wanderlust That

While strolling through TikTok last week (call it a virtual Camino), and a seemingly endless stream of lip syncing to popular songs and cute talking animals videos, I ran across yet another adorable talking canine with an ambiguous Latin American accent. They’re actually common on TikTok, but I’m probably telling you nothing you don’t already know about the app darling of Generation Z.

The svelte chihuahua in a skimpy bikini and sunglasses caught my attention, and I stopped clicking through long enough to listen to her rap:

“And I was reading my Instagram, all wanderlust this and wanderlust that … “ Might have been the mental picture of that chihuahua in beach wear posing in front of a dazzling Instagram travel snapshot, #wanderlust, but I was ROFL.

Despite the addictive quality of TikTok, I will publish another blog post Friday about slow travel and #wanderlust. Where can I find one of those sweet little talking dogs?
